Sons of the American Legion – Squadron 8



Post 8 is poud to be the home of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 8. S.A.L. members are active volunteers at Post 8 and at local veteran support organizations. They hold numerous fundraising and support-oriented events throughout the year, such as the annual Night at the Races and an annual dinner for patients from Walter Reed Medical Center. Many members at Post 8 are both Veteran members and members of the S.A.L.

 

S.A.L. Squadron 8 Members meet at Post 8 on the first Tuesday of every month.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

All male descendants, adopted sons and stepsons of members of The American Legion, and such male descendants of veterans who died in service during World I, World War II, and Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, and the Persian Gulf War, during the delimiting periods set forth in Article IV, Section I, of the National Constitution of The American Legion, or who died subsequent to their honorable discharge from such service, shall be eligible for membership in the Sons of The American Legion. There shall be no forms or class of membership except an active membership. Proof of eligibility verification may be required upon request.
